Well, looking at everybody else blogs, it looks like I should sum up the year, so, here goes.

So very much has happened this year, its difficult to know where to start!

I started the year hoping that it would be easier than the one before, all in all it was, but it was still a toughie!

I moved to London in February and started a new job within 48 hours of getting here. Leaving the place you call home is so difficult, especially leaving all your best friends! But I brought my very best friend, Dave, with me and the girls (George and Charlie) and to be honest I don't find it too hard to make friends with people. When I was most homesick and finding friendships at work superficial an angel extended the hand of friendship even though she had reservations for certain reasons and looked after me (if she ever reads this she'll know who she is and how much it meant). Nevertheless, now that I'm at the end of the year I can happily say that I've made lovely and special new friends in London, resurrected friendships with friends that moved from Glasgow to London too and met some people from C4 that are lovely. Nevertheless, I still had my PhD hanging over my head all year and that made life so hard.

All in all, I did make friends, the jobs going well and the PhD is finally FINISHED!!!!!!! So a pretty successful year.

It's been a difficult past two years for me and Dave to be honest, lots of ups and downs for whatever reasons but I don't think many couples would have come through what we have as well as we have (well done us), we are still very much together, I love him more than ever and the future looks bright. Bring on 2004.

You know what ... the most important thing ... I'M HAPPY!!! :D

p.s. twineo, where would I be without you too (especially Sunday mornings), so thank you, your welcome, congratulations, OO R YA!?!?! etc. :)

You're Perfect ^^
-Perfect- You're the perfect girlfriend. Which
means you're rare or that you cheated :P You're
the kind of chick that can hang out with your
boyfriend's friends and be silly. You don't
care about presents or about going to fancy
placed. Hell, just hang out. You're just happy
being around your boyfriend.

Ello ello

Its been a while and everyone is moaning at me so I suppose I had better update ;).

Anyho0o0o0o, where should I start - last things first!!!!

DAVE HAS A NEW JOB!!! WOOHOOO!!! He's going to be working near to where he does now and its the same sort of pay BUT he's paid monthly, he has set hours and I'm going to get to see him SO much more!!! I'm really pleased for him, even if it isn't a perfect job it can't be worse that where he is, things can only get better :D

I've been working really hard on my pursuit to cure AIDS and finishing up my damned thesis, and I'm getting there (touch wood). Should be finished thesis by this time next week (fingers crossed). Went out for dinner with workmates on Friday night; had a good laugh in a Lebanese restaurant and smoked apple shishas.

Went to a colleagues wedding last weekend. It was a Jewish wedding so, as well as being sweet and lovely and stuff, it was really interesting: I've never been to a synagogue before let alone a Jewish wedding. The bride and groom seemed on top of the world. At the reception they had traditional Israeli dancing followed by a disco. The brides dress was fantastic, it had all the usual white netting under it but when she danced and hitched it up a bit it had red netting under it. Hehe, she also took her wedding shoes off and replaced them with bright pink trainers!!!

Oh yes, it was the C4 meet the day before the meet. There was a small turnout but it was a good day anyho0o0o. Me, Alien/Jalanterial/General Nuisance (:P), Fang and GayBoy were there for the whole meet and Mage turned up for about half an hour. We went for dinner at a thai restaurant, Busabe, which was YUMMY, then spent a few hours in The Blue Posts chatting away, followed by ice cream sundaes in the Haagen Daz cafe. It was lovely to see everyone and have a good old blether.

Hmmmm, let me see ... other than that its just been the usual ... working, bar at work, working, bar at work ... and I'm sure you can guess the rest.

I've been a bit Bah Humbug about Xmas to be honest but I'm starting to get into the swing of things. I can't wait for Claire, Steve and Jack (the dog) to come and stay and the parties at work should all be fun. I'll just need to get the flat decorated!

Well, I'm offski for now.

MWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
